2016-2017 Baseball Season
Entering our 12th season of travel baseball, Technique Tigers Baseball Academy has trained thousands of kids ages 6-18. Our practice regimen is what made Technique one of the most respected travel programs in Connecticut. Our coaching staff has well over 100 years combined of coaching experience at all different levels. More importantly, coaching kids is what we love to do. Throughout the years we have developed our players “One Fundamental at a Time” where developing skills is our main focus. In a world of ‘win at all cost’ mentality, Technique has continued to develop players with the belief that developing skills and fundamentals every single day is winning. At the early ages we preach to our athletes that as they continue to stay committed to our practice regimen, they will learn how to win ball games and ultimately have an abundance of fun doing so.
Commitment is vital to the success of our athletes. At Technique we practice daily when games are not scheduled. Our program day off is usually Monday and we look to practice a minimum of three to four days a week to ensure that all players are getting the knowledge and practice throughout the season to be competitive at all levels. Technique Tigers Baseball Academy has always encouraged kids 12 and under to participate in their local Little League so they have an opportunity to represent their town. Most of our Tiger athletes participate in All Stars and District teams.
